Meet Mrs. Abbitt
About Me
Hi everyone! I am Mrs. Abbitt. I am a math tutor whose mission is to create a community of scholars who enjoy learning mathematics and problem solving. I worked as a civil engineer before being called to become an educator. I use my engineering background to demonstrate to my students how math is used in real world applications. This helps students deepen their understanding of essential
mathematical concepts.
I am certified in Michigan for teaching Mathematics for grades 6-12. I have eight years of teaching experience. One of the things I enjoy most about teaching is creating customized, engaging mathematics online lessons for my students to enjoy.
